The Best MagSafe Power Banks to Keep Your Phone Charged All Day and Night

There’s a wide selection of the best power banks out there that you can use to keep your electronics charged on the go. For many people, though, there’s only one reason to carry a power bank and that’s to make sure they always have a way of charging their phone when they need it. If that’s the case, then you might want to consider getting a MagSafe power bank instead.

The best MagSafe power banks can charge your phone much like any portable battery pack. Instead of stashing in your pocket like other small power banks, though, these charging devices magnetically snap to the back of your iPhone just like other MagSafe accessories, ensuring you’ll always have the battery on hand, ready to charge your phone at a moment’s notice.

The best MagSafe power banks can charge your phone wirelessly, so you can do away with extra wires altogether. However, using a wired connection should enable faster charging speeds, which you might require on occasion, so it’s not a bad idea to have one of those compact charging cables among your keychain tool kit.

These are the best MagSafe power banks to keep your phone charged throughout the day.

Anker Zolo 10K Magnetic Power Bank

Pros

  • Inexpensive
  • Large capacity
  • Fully charges phone twice

Cons

  • Slow wireless charging

Capacity: 10,000mAh
Power output: 7.5W (wireless), 30W (USB-C)
Dimensions: 4.2 x 2.7 x 0.8 inches (height x width x thickness)
Weight: 8.5oz

If you just want an inexpensive MagSafe power bank with plenty of power in tow, this battery pack should give you all the juice you need to keep your phone charged continuously at a very attractive price. With a 10,000 mAh battery pack, it charges most modern phones twice over (or almost twice for some), so you’ll never run out of charge throughout the day. Sure, it’s quite bulky, but the same goes for nearly every 10K power banks you’re going to find. So why is it much cheaper than others? Simply put, it doesn’t have Qi2. That means, it can only charge at a maximum of 7.5W wirelessly, which shouldn’t be an issue if it’s charging your phone continuously anyway. Additionally, it has a built-in USB-C cable that you can plug in if you need to recharge your phone faster. It also has an integrated kickstand, so you can use it as a phone stand.

Baseus PicoGo Qi2 Magnetic Power Bank

Pros

  • Wireless fast charging
  • You can charge over wireless and USB-C simultaneously
  • Rotating kickstand supports portrait and landscape

Cons

  • No included charging cable

Capacity: 5,000mAh
Power output: 15W (wireless), 20W (USB-C)
Dimensions: 4.1 x 2.6 x 0.5 inches (height x width x thickness)
Weight: 6oz

Let’s be honest, most people don’t want the bulk of a 10K MagSafe power bank, especially if they’re going to keep it attached to the back of their phones. For those individuals, a slimmer 5K power bank like this model should make a better pick. It packs enough power to let you charge your phone to full once, well some phones to almost full, all while doing it plenty fast at a wireless charging rate of up to 15W. The power bank also supports dual charging, so you can juice up your phone wirelessly while charging another device over USB-C. Do note, it doesn’t have a built-in cable, so you’ll have to carry one separately. We also really like the ring-shaped kickstand on this power bank, which rotates to support both landscape and portrait orientations, all while doubling as a handy albeit less-than-comfortable grip.

InfinaCore for MagSafe Battery Pack

Pros

  • Slimmer and lighter than others
  • Stays cooler than others
  • Supports 15W wireless fast charging
  • Allows custom branding

Cons

  • Can’t charge big phones to full

Capacity: 5,200mAh
Power output: 15W (wireless), 20W (USB-C)
Dimensions: 3.3 x 2.4 x 0.4 inches (height x width x thickness)
Weight: 3.9oz

Our favorite part of this MagSafe power bank? The custom name or logo you can have printed out front, allowing you to tailor its aesthetics just a teeny bit to your liking. We do wish they didn’t slap on that large InfinaCore logo on the side, which kind of detracts from the custom branding. It supports Qi2, so you get the benefits of 15W fast charging, with enough juice in the 5K battery to charge most phones once. Can it take a big phone from drained to full charge? Not in our experience, but we did get to 90 percent in a little over two hours before it ran out. What’s really impressive here are the power bank’s proportions, as it’s slimmer and lighter than many other 5K designs. It also doesn’t seem to get as warm as other power banks, which we really appreciate.

Anker MagGo Ultra Slim Power Bank

Pros

  • Slimmer than other 10K power banks
  • Fast wireless and wired charging
  • Comes with detailed display

Cons

  • No kickstand or integrated cable

Capacity: 10,000mAh
Power output: 15W (wireless), 30W (USB-C)
Dimensions: 4.1 x 2.8 x 0.58 inches (height x width x thickness)
Weight: 7.05oz

At just 0.58 inches thick, this MagSafe power bank is barely thicker than some 5K options in the list, all while packing a full 10K battery pack. It’s downright impressive how slim this thing is. Like many power banks that prioritize a slim frame, there’s no integrated power cable, so you’ll have to carry a USB-C cable if you want wired charging at any point. Chances are, you won’t need it since this magnetic power bank supports 15W wireless fast charging. It capably charged our iPhone 15 twice over from drained, although it only got up to around 85 percent during the second go, which is pretty standard for most similar battery capacities. There’s no kickstand, by the way, which, we guess, helps with the slimmer frame, so you can’t use the attached battery to stand your phone upright. We do, however, like the detailed display, which is way more informative than the usual LED indicators found in other power banks.

Ecoflow Rapid Magnetic Power Bank 10K

Pros

  • Dispenses charge efficiently
  • Rapid charging with built-in cable
  • Recharges faster than others

Cons

  • Bigger and heavier than others

Capacity: 10,000mAh
Power output: 15W (wireless), 30W (USB-C)
Dimensions: 4.25 x 2.8 x 0.9 inches (height x width x thickness)
Weight: 9.7oz

This MagSafe power bank charged both the iPhone 15 and the iPhone 16 twice over in separate tests (over 90 percent on second charging for both), making it more efficient than many other 10K battery packs. It’s fast, too, wirelessly charging our test phone from zero to 25 percent in under 30 minutes, while supporting up to 30W fast charging over the built-in USB-C cable, which is the fastest in the list. You can even monitor the rate of charging and discharging from the companion app, which is a nice thing to have for the data-obsessed out there. The power bank itself charges fast, too, as it can charge at a rate of up to 65W, so you can be done recharging it much faster than other power banks. Basically, it’s a powerful and efficient battery pack. The catch? It’s a tad bigger and heavier than other 10K power banks, which is a tradeoff some users might find worthwhile.

Belkin BoostCharge Pro Magnetic Power Bank 10K

Pros

  • Charges up to three devices at once
  • Wireless fast charging
  • Built-in cable and kickstand

Cons

  • USB-C port seems picky with cables

Capacity: 10,000mAh
Power output: 15W (wireless), 20W (USB-C)
Dimensions: 3.9 x 2.8 x 0.8 inches (height x width x thickness)
Weight: 7.7oz

While Belkin sells a 5K version of this MagSafe power bank, you need to bear in mind that the 15W wireless fast charging only works on the 10K model. That’s why it’s the model we included in the list. As with other 10K battery packs, it charges newer phones nearly twice over, so you get more power on tap than most people will need throughout the day. It also supports simultaneous wireless and wired charging via the built-in USB-C cable, so you can replenish another power-starved device, although the wireless charging only goes up to 7.5W in that scenario. Aside from charging two devices at once, Belkin claims it can actually do three at a time if you plug in a separate cable on the right-side USB-C port. In our testing, it did work sometimes, but it seems to be picky with the cables it supports. Basically, it’s a hit or miss on that end, but it’s still a nice feature to have on hand. It’s also not as bulky or as heavy as other 10K batteries, despite having a bunch of niceties such as the charging cable and the kickstand integrated, which is pretty impressive.
